Introduction |

Thinh Long beach-Hai Hau district-has been a
resort since 1940s. It was until 1960s when Nam
Dinh Trade Union built a guesthouse in this
area, the beach was much known.

For
three years, after Hai Thinh commune was
approved by the Government on its elevation to
Thinh Long township, Thinh Long sea tourism site
has been bustling and prosperous. To exploit the
sea potentialities, the province invested in
construction of a trade port in Thinh Long. The
planning of the sea township has become clearer.
Roads and cross lines have been paved. Some high
storey, Trade Union -managed and Textile
workers’ guesthouses are available to receive
tourists in summer. In Thinh Long beach, the
seawater is highly salty, the terrain is sloppy
and waves crash onto the shore day and night.
For its inherent advantages, Thinh Long has
become a destination to tourists from inside and
outside Nam Dinh province. |
